New Terminal Activation Project Takes Off in Wichita

Chrysalis not only gets the job done, but we also deliver a project that wins — and keeps winning. Our clients’ projects received accolades from industry influencers.

Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport

Chrysalis completed a new terminal activation project for Wichita’s newly named Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport to replace its aging terminal.

The terminal design earned a Gold Award in 2011 at the 4th Annual Mid-America Design Awards. Designed by HNTB Architecture, in association with GLMV Architecture, the terminal was recognized in the Unbuilt category and critiqued on its innovative design and use of materials, color and light — as well as its overall solution to Wichita’s aging airport terminal.

In 2016, the terminal received the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce Ad Astra Award, which honors outstanding achievements in the community. This is only the third time the award was given.

Public-Sector Program Gets an Upgrade in Detroit

Retirement Systems for the City of Detroit

The City of Detroit needed to upgrade its multiple legacy payroll processing systems into one common system: UltiPro. Retirement Systems for the City of Detroit is responsible for monthly payroll checks to retired City employees as well as for tracking payroll data for active employees.

Chrysalis Global supported Retirement Systems for the City of Detroit through selecting and implementing the new interface as well as exporting, transition and loading data into UltiPro. We ensured no piece of information was missed or lost and all employee data continued to be tracked and managed during the transition.
